Sven B. Schreiber I'm starting to love chiptunes! These big little symphonies Samuel Ascher-Weiss creates here, based on the cheap sounds and limited capabilities of those small synth chips are pure magic. 85 fun-packed minutes on an electronica rollercoaster - without a single second of rest. Favorite track: SNESology (Assorted Instruments).

TimTTT The SNES was my first console growing up. Super Mario land is the game that came with it. A lot of the songs on here I don't remember, but when I heard Adventures it's like I was 11 again playing as Luigi. Favorite track: Adventures in Dinosaur Land (Super Mario World Instruments).

Steven Smith this is the best one, i think Favorite track: Hands of Fate (Chrono Trigger/FFVI/Terranigma Instruments).

Dillon Ethier The most prog-tastic soundtrack to the greatest SNES game never made (the SNES-ified Les Mis tune is cool, too). Thank you for putting it back up. With bonus tracks, even!

Can't get enough of that FM slap bass! Favorite track: Infiltration (Contra III Instruments).

about

This is the 2nd Re-Release of my SNESology album, most of which was written during the last portion of 2012, with 2 new songs written in mid 2014 (Grape Kid and Fun Saber)

In Addition, for the first time ever, this release includes 3 solo piano renditions of songs from the original SNESology set. These were recorded on a Yamaha Baby Grand in 2012 but only one of them was every released previously.

released June 30, 2015

Artwork by Katie Kinkel and Alex Roe
Track 18 is a cover of a song from Les Misrables, all the rest of the songs are entirely original.
